At the Hudson-Chatham Winery in Columbia County, NY, we feel lucky to live in an area that has some of the highest quality local foods around, and we are always looking for ways to share them.

This Saturday, June 13, the winery will feature goodies from several outstanding local producers, highlighted by grilled grass-fed beef burgers from Kinderhook Farm.

Enjoy a wine tasting and stay for a picnic. Everything is a la carte, so you can choose to eat - or drink - only what you want.

If You've Never Tried Grass-Fed Beef, Now's the Time!
At Kinderhook Farm, just over the hill from the winery, Georgia and Lee Ranney raise beef cattle on a 100% grass and legume diet that includes no grain, antibiotics, growth hormone, or animal by-products. This makes for a leaner, more flavorful meat that is as good as it gets.

Georgia and Lee are famous for their grilled sliders - mini burgers that they cook to perfection. At this event, you can top your slider with an all-natural chutney from Beth's Farm Kitchen. The taste combinations are incredible, and can be paired with anything from a crisp Hudson-Chatham Riesling to a full-bodied Merlot.

Just-Picked Salad Greens to Complement the Burgers
Holmquest Farms is a family owned and operated business based in neighboring Hudson, and we're delighted that they'll be providing salad greens for our guests. Their season is just starting, and their salad greens and baby spinach are just-picked fresh! The perfect accompaniment - or topping - to a gourmet slider.

If you're particular about your pastries, you're in for a real treat. The Chatham Village Cake Shoppe's cookies and cupcakes are made with real butter and the finest ingredients.
