DOWD ON DRINKS
HIGHLIGHTS EMPIRE RESERVE 2007
Noted wines and spirits editor William M. Dowd, on his blog, Dowd on Drinks, recently ran an article on Empire Reserve 2007.
"New York’s latest wine is scheduled to be released to the market the weekend of September 19-20. However, you can get a preview of it if you attend this weekend’s Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest," wrote Dowd.

Empire Reserve 2007 displays hints of melon and pineapple, anise seed, and hard candy aromas. Its applesauce and almond flavors are refreshing and mellow with a smooth, round mouth feel. Pair it with seafood and chicken dishes, game hens pork roast and cream sauce pastas.I like to drink wine with my Cuban Cigars
