HUDSON-CHATHAM WINERY'S
DAVID JACKSON
UNDERSTANDING NY STATE WINE

New York State’s always-expanding wine industry has gotten to the point that some guidance may be in order to keep up with it.

For $5 and 90 minutes of your time, David Jackson (right) may be able to smooth your way.
Jackson, a wine educator and industry professional, will present “Understanding New York State Wines (for dummies)” at The Wine Seller, 190 Remsen Street in Cohoes, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25.

Participants must be 21 or older. Advance registration, priced at $5 per person, is required by calling 238-2232. Participants will be instructed in the pairing of certain varietals with culinary flavors, as well as get a rundown on the state’s industry.

Jackson is sales director of the Hudson-Chatham Winery and director of Ripertoli Wine Adventures.

The Wine Seller is part of the Harmony House Marketplace complex.
