Casscles Middle Hope Vineyard Ready for 2013 Vintage!

 

Middle Hope is a populated place located in Orange County north of Marlboro on the Hudson River's western bank. Steve Casscles has a small vineyard there, that has been a pet project for the last few years.

 

 

He took an older vineyard, cleared the forest that had been encroaching upon it, improved the deer fencing, and took special care re-habilitating the 20 year old vineyard. He's replanted where vines ha died off, and completely reinvigorated the whole site.

This vineyard is all Baco Noir. So we'll be making a single vineyard appellation wine from this vineyard.

 

Hudson-Chatham Baco Noir Casscles Middle Hope Vineyard 2013 will be available next year. Looking forward to an exciting harvest.
